We're Here To Serve

Treatments To Suit Your Needs

At Mind Spa we are dedicated to craft a customized treatment plan that  best addresses your treatment needs and goals. A significant aspect of  our treatment planning includes the thoughtful layering of interventions to address the multi-contextual nature of suffering. We have found  through our 35+ years  of mental health treatment experience that a care plan must be every bit as sophisticated as the nuances your diagnostic  history.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) For Mental Health

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) at Mind Spa Denver is a non‑invasive, medical treatment that uses concentrated oxygen in a 2.0 ATA pressurized chamber to accelerate brain and body healing. By flooding the bloodstream with oxygen, HBOT cools neuroinflammation, boosts cellular energy, and supports recovery from TBI, PTSD, concussion, depression, anxiety, and other lingering post‑injury symptoms. Sessions last about 60 minutes, typically in a series of 20–40 treatments, and most patients find the experience calm and comfortable with minimal downtime or side effects.

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Therapy In Denver

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) at Mind Spa Denver is an FDA‑approved, non‑invasive brain stimulation treatment for adults with major depressive disorder, especially those who have not achieved relief from antidepressants or psychotherapy alone. During TMS, a magnetic coil placed over the prefrontal cortex delivers focused pulses that increase neuronal activity and are believed to modulate key neurotransmitters such as serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine, supporting neuroplastic changes in mood‑regulating brain networks. Treatment is delivered in a relaxed outpatient setting, with sessions lasting about 20–30 minutes, typically five days per week for 4–6 weeks, and no need for anesthesia or recovery time. Most people experience only mild, temporary side effects such as scalp discomfort or headache, can drive themselves home, and fit TMS into their normal daily routine.

Ketamine Infusion Therapy For PTSD, Depression & Anxiety

Ketamine Infusion Therapy at Mind Spa Denver is an advanced treatment for adults with treatment‑resistant depression, PTSD, generalized anxiety and suicidal ideation who have not improved with standard antidepressants. Delivered as low‑dose IV infusions in a controlled clinical environment, ketamine works through the glutamate system and NMDA receptors to increase BDNF, promote neuroplasticity, reduce inflammation and rapidly rebalance mood circuits in the prefrontal cortex and hippocampus. A typical treatment course includes six infusions over 2–3 weeks, followed by individualized maintenance boosters as needed, with each session lasting 60–90 minutes in a quiet, monitored room. Patients are continuously supervised by trained staff, may feel a brief “floaty” or dissociative sensation, and most side effects, such as lightheadedness, nausea, or temporary blood pressure changes, are mild and short‑lived. Clinical studies show ketamine can produce response rates up to about 70% in treatment‑resistant depression, with noticeable improvement often emerging within 24–72 hours of an infusion. At Mind Spa Denver, ketamine is integrated with TMS, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, and psychotherapy to turn short‑term neuroplastic gains into lasting symptom relief and functional recovery.

Our Integrated Treatment Model

At Mind Spa, we understand that every patient is unique, and that a  “one-size-fits-all” approach to mental health treatment is not  effective. That’s why we use an integrated treatment program that  combines multiple interventions to provide comprehensive care and  support to our veteran patients.

Our innovative treatments, Ketamine Infusion Therapy and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), have been shown to be effective in treating depression and  PTSD, especially in patients who have not responded to other treatments. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is another intervention we offer, which  involves breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber, and has been  shown to help improve mood, cognitive function, and brain performance.

While medication management plays a critical role in treating mental health  disorders, we understand that not every patient will benefit from  medication. That’s why we take a personalized approach to medication  management, understanding that every patient is unique and requires  individualized care. We employ state-of-the-art pharmacogenetic testing  to gain an accurate measure of a patient’s genetic makeup, which helps  us determine which medications are most likely to be effective for each  patient, while minimizing the risk of adverse side effects.

In addition to medication management, we also offer integrative  psychotherapy and psychoeducation. These forms of therapy allow our  patients to learn new ways of navigating through adversity, increasing  resilience and performance, developing coping skills, all with the aim  of increasing conceptualization of self. Our team of mental health  professionals works closely with each patient to develop a personalized  treatment plan that meets their unique needs and goals.

By  combining these interventions, we provide our veteran patients with the  best possible care and support. We are dedicated to helping our patients recover from mental health issues faster and find long-term solutions  to their challenges. At Mind Spa, we believe in taking a holistic  approach to mental health treatment and are committed to helping our  patients achieve mental wellness in all aspects of their lives.
